The partnership with the Government of Ekiti State in Nigeria spans a wide range of joint activities to support health financing reform. These activities contribute to reform design, including analysis of public expenditures, development and costing of the state’s basic package of essential health services, and the design of provider payment methods. They also support implementation with operational tools such as the ULERAWA digital insurance platform and joint work on the political economy of reform. In addition, the collaboration strengthens sector leadership and technical capacity through ongoing strategic dialogue, joint policy reviews, and Transformative Health Financing coursework.
